The bar restaurant is the perfect place for residents and locals to meet, enjoy a meal, or simply raise a glass or two.

Catch up with your friends in front of the log fire in the bar; book an intimate table in the restaurant; or reserve a larger area for your club or family gathering; and have a good time.

We offer a selection of locally brewed ales along with other favourites such as Peroni, and Becks Beers, wines, champagnes and of course Prosecco by the glass or bottle.

Our main menu offers traditional favourites like steaks, fish and vegetarian dishes, while our Pizza and Pasta menu offers a delicious alternative.

Our pizzas are homemade to order available to take away for those living locally or having a short break in the self-catering accommodation, but we also provide an in-room delivery service for our residents.

Our kitchen is open from breakfast to dinner where chef/owner Mike Allchorne produces delicious, seasonal dishes using fresh local produce. In fact, by dining at Alston House Hotel you are supporting over 20 local food producers.

As we produce most of the food that we serve here in our own kitchens we are able to cater for people with special dietary requirements.

Lighter bites and delicious homemade cakes and scones are served in the house cafe, which is an ideal place to chill and take in the stunning views.
